This is a private reference site, not a Denver or Colorado government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that controls the record or action.

For local custody, call the Denver Sheriff Department inmate-information line at 720-913-3600. General DSD questions go to 720-913-3642 or dsdinfo@denvergov.org. Its official mailing address is Denver Sheriff Department, P.O. Box 20707, Tampa, FL 33622. That unusual address is for mail, not a jail visit. The intake facility is Van Cise-Simonet Downtown Detention Center, 490 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80204, 720-337-0400. Denver County Jail is at 10500 E. Smith Road, Denver, CO 80239, 720-913-3642. Recheck visiting and service hours before going.
DPD Identification handles mailed arrest-record and recent-photo orders at 1331 Cherokee St., Room 416, Denver, CO 80204-2787. DPD lists 720-913-6010 for information and 720-913-2000 for non-emergency calls. Its records page gives a five-to-ten-business-day response estimate, which is not a public-counter schedule. DSD accepts booking-record requests only through its electronic form and does not publish fixed counter hours or a fixed production deadline. Use the following route for the question at hand.
- For a Denver booking record or photo, follow the official records-request steps for DSD or DPD.
- For a possible warrant, use the court route on Most Wanted Fugitives.
- For a recent arrest or current jail location, search Denver Inmate Search, then call the DSD inmate line if needed.
- For release alerts, use Colorado VINE. It tracks custody changes but does not provide booking photos.
- For the result of a case, check Denver County Court and Denver District Court separately, then ask the proper clerk for the official disposition.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Colorado Department of Corrections offender search or Constituent Services.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System. Neither replaces Denver's local locator.
